Church Community Link exists to bridge the gap between local churches and the communities they serve. We help churches take their faith beyond the walls—into neighbourhoods, families, and hearts—through real partnerships, practical support, and meaningful outreach.

About Church Community Link

Church Community Link is a faith-based initiative committed to empowering churches to become powerful agents of transformation in their communities. We work alongside churches, community groups, and local leaders to address pressing social issues like housing, mental health, safety, and poverty—with compassion, care, and collaboration.

We believe that every community has the potential to thrive—when faith and service come together.

Churches are not just places of worship; they are beacons of hope and support in our communities.

CCL was founded with a vision in mind that in order for a church to be active and fulfils its mandate, it needs to work hand in hand with communities. If the church is not linked with a community then John 3:16, will never attain its fruition.

Jesus didn’t come to save the church (He didn’t say “For God so loved the church” but the “world”), the world here represents community.

Any church that fails to work with a community it’s a failed church.

Empowerment

At Church Community Link, we believe true empowerment begins with connection. We don't just serve—we equip. Our goal is to help churches move beyond charity into partnership, walking alongside individuals and families as they build stronger, safer, and more hopeful futures. We empower churches through: Training and tools to engage effectively Support to identify and respond to real community needs Resources for sustainable outreach and collaboration We empower communities by: Creating spaces for healing, belonging, and growth Linking people to opportunities, support, and hope Uplifting local voices and leadership. Because when churches are empowered to serve, and people are empowered to thrive—transformation becomes unstoppable. Kingdom’s citizens are the hub of change. The Church is simply a terrestrial agency, our mandate is to equip citizens to lead their communities towards a future of opportunity and hope.

Safety

We work with churches nationally, to ensure policies are in line with best practices and UK legislation. We work with church leaders to provide education and training by creating a safe environment within the church for children and vulnerable adults. We review and update safeguarding policies to align with UK safeguarding legislation. We also help raise awareness of the issue of child abuse linked to faith or belief and to encourage practical steps to be taken to prevent such abuse in the church.

Housing - Creating Stability and Dignity

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. At Church Community Link, we work with churches and local partners to support sustainable housing solutions that meet real community needs. Whether it’s helping someone transition out of homelessness, supporting families in crisis, or working with landlords and councils to find long-term answers—housing is more than shelter. It’s the foundation for dignity, stability, and hope. Our Approach to Housing: Church-led Support Initiatives We equip churches to walk alongside individuals facing housing insecurity—through practical assistance, referrals, and emotional support. Partnerships with Local Providers We connect churches with housing charities, local councils, and support services to create a coordinated response. Temporary Relief & Long-Term Solutions From emergency needs like food and hygiene packs, to long-term goals like supported accommodation and tenancy support, we help bridge the gap. Restoring More Than Just Roofs Our focus is holistic. Safe housing is just the beginning—we aim to restore hope, relationships, and community. “The righteous care about justice for the poor...” — Proverbs 29:7 Together, we can make sure that no one in our communities feels forgotten, invisible, or alone.

Wellbeing : Healing hearts, Minds and Lives

We believe true wellbeing goes beyond physical health. At Church Community Link, we support churches in addressing the emotional, mental, spiritual, and social well-being of individuals and families in their communities. In a time where many are struggling with isolation, anxiety, trauma, and loss, the Church has a unique opportunity to bring comfort, care, and hope. Our Approach to Wellbeing: Mental Health Awareness & Support We provide resources, partnerships, and training that help churches respond with compassion to mental health challenges—reducing stigma and increasing access to help. Workshops & Peer Support From wellbeing groups to trauma-informed care sessions, we equip churches to host safe, welcoming spaces where people can heal together. Spiritual Care & Prayer Ministry We recognize that spiritual wellbeing is foundational. Through pastoral care, prayer networks, and chaplaincy, we support faith-based healing and hope. Building Resilient Communities When people feel seen, heard, and supported, communities become stronger. We encourage relational outreach that meets people where they are—with kindness and empathy. “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10 We’re here to help churches become places of refuge, restoration, and renewal.

Justice: Walking Humbly, Acting Boldly Justice is not just a cause—it’s a calling. At Church Community Link, we believe every person is created in the image of God and worthy of dignity, fairness, and opportunity. We help churches move beyond charity into justice—addressing the deeper roots of inequality and advocating for lasting change in our communities. Our Commitment to Justice: Giving Voice to the Voiceless We support churches in listening to and amplifying the stories of those often overlooked—those facing poverty, discrimination, displacement, or systemic barriers. Equipping for Advocacy Through training and partnerships, we help churches engage in public life: challenging injustice, standing with the vulnerable, and promoting policies that uphold equity and compassion. Restorative, Not Punitive Approaches We work toward healing and restoration—especially in areas like youth justice, addiction recovery, and re-entry after incarceration—helping churches support second chances and community reintegration. Justice Through Relationships Justice begins with presence. By building meaningful, long-term relationships across divides, churches become safe spaces of reconciliation, accountability, and shared humanity. “He has shown you, O man, what is good... How We Provide Support: For Individuals & Families We work with churches to offer compassionate support through food relief, crisis response, pastoral care, mentoring, and access to local services. For Churches We equip church leaders and teams with the tools, encouragement, and resources they need to serve their communities well—without burning out or feeling alone in the mission. For Communities Through community hubs, pop-up services, and collaboration with local partners, we help churches bring support where it’s needed most—practically and personally. Ongoing Presence, Not Just One-Time Help We believe real transformation takes time.
